Ioanna Tsolakidou is a 2D animator, storyboard artist, illustrator, and art instructor.
 

Originally from Thessaloniki, Greece, she moved to France in 2009 to study at École Pivaut in Nantes, specializing in Dessin d’Animation. She began her professional career in 2013 in Paris, collaborating with renowned animation studios such as Gaumont Animation, Studio Redfrog, Futurikon, Watch Next Media, Luce Creative, Tchack Studio, Cyber Group Studios, GO-N Productions, Caribara, and Cardel Entertainment. Her work spans 2D animation, storyboarding, and props design.
 

In 2022, Ioanna founded the art group We Draw Life Berlin, through which she organizes life drawing sessions and art exhibitions in Berlin-Neukölln, creating space for both professional artists and passionate hobbyists. She loves sharing the often solitary process of drawing with others and deeply believes in its healing and connecting power.
 

In 2025, Ioanna was invited to teach 2D animation at the Berliner Hochschule für Technik (BHT) and now also offers drawing-based classes in 2d animation and storytelling for children, combining creativity with visual storytelling techniques.
